During the month of May, we are celebrating Safety Week on all construction sites and in all offices of the 17 companies affiliated to the Agreement for Safety in Construction. PBB (Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie) is Poland’s largest initiative to improve safety on construction sites, of which we have been a member for five years. This year’s anniversary edition of the event runs under the slogan ‘Stop has power. I watch out, I don’t endanger’.
As every year, Safety Week is an opportunity to hold a series of educational activities at Eiffage. Our employees will take part in first aid training, workshops on dealing with stress, PPE demonstrations and much more. Their aim is to promote a culture of safety and educate employees on the dangers arising from the nature of their work.
Up to 30,000 people in total – employees, subcontractors, suppliers and investors – will take part in the tenth festival promoting responsibility in the workplace.
Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie is an organisation bringing together the largest construction companies in Poland. The aim of the initiative is to reduce the number of accidents on construction sites by promoting a culture of safety, raising awareness of the dangers of working on construction sites and preventing risks and accidents.
