In recent weeks, we have started cooperation with as many as four leading universities of technology in Poland, located in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan and Kielce. The agreements signed with each of these universities cover cooperation in scientific and research ventures, educational issues and student exchanges.
Educational agreements
The first university with which we signed an educational agreement was the Cracow University of Technology. The signing ceremony took place in mid-March this year. In the weeks that followed, further agreements were successively concluded with the Swietokrzyska, Poznan and Warsaw Universities of Technology (Faculty of Civil Engineering).
The cooperation with renowned polytechnics located in the cities where Eiffage has its headquarters carries great potential. This is an important opportunity to provide real support for the development of young employees in the construction sector. Students and graduates from these universities will be able to receive special job offers from our units. In turn, Eiffage representatives will act as lecturers at postgraduate courses and seminars.
Supporting young talent is our strategy
Supporting the development of young workers in the construction sector is one of our long-term goals in our Horizon 2025 strategic plan. We see a great opportunity for the development of our company in discovering new talent and recruiting young people. By 2025, we want to increase the number of young people in the organisation to ensure a balance of age and experience.
