On 15th May 2009 Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex SA signed the contract for modernization and adaptation of PALMA buildings for the needs of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz.
The construction works include the adaptation of two already existing buildings of the PALMA Medical Centre with the complete finishing. The refurbished buildings will be the new academic facilities of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz: didactic halls, rooms for academic studies as well as library. University of Lodz is the investor and the enterprise is financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The value of the contract amounts to c.a. 21 mln PLN gross and the project completion is scheduled for 11 months.
