GeoEducation Centre developed by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex won the SARP 2011 prize

On December 7th, 2012 the GeoEducation Centre won the SARP 2011 prize for the best architectural structure in Poland built in 2011. The building erected by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex is dedicated to Wietrznia quarry and geological park. The centre contains modern exhibition and conference halls. Special educational paths in the park and a geo-playground make the visit in Wietrznia a truly exciting travel to the past. The building was opened in May 2012. The investor paid c.a. PLN 17 million in total. The original design of the centre is the result of PALK Architekci studio ideas. The general contractor who was responsible for construction works is Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex.
