On 7th March 2014 Eiffage Polska Budownictwo signed a contract for the development of technological halls, the 2nd construction phase of the Research Center of Polish Internet in Poznań. The whole area included in the design equals 4 693 sq. m, the gross covered area is 1 370 sq m, floorage – 2 483 sq. m and volume – 10 967 cubic m.
The project’s investor is the SuperComputer & Network Center in Poznań. The center will be the head research unit dedicated to internet infrastructure and communication technologies development and introduction. The center’s project includes the erection of data center (so called Technological Halls Building) and offices and research facilities. Special laboratories will be integrated with the PIONIER web hence available to Polish and foreign researchers and IT innovation and development departments. The contract total value amounts to PLN 38 million gross. Construction works will end in April 2015. Eiffage Polska Budownictwo is responsible for the development of all phases of the center.
