A comprehensive senior care center was created in two old hospital buildings. Angel Care is a prime example of a revitalized building smoothly woven into the existing urban fabric.

The older, Neo-Gothic part of the complex dates back to the end of the 19yh century, the more recent one was built in the 1930s. Both buildings underwent a radical makeover. Angel Care was divided into two separate sections: protected apartments for independent seniors and a home for those who require constant assistance. Every day, qualified medical staff caters to 250 people on six floos. Nearly all tasks were carried out in strict cooperation with the local conservation officer.
