Located on the right bank of the Warta River, Galeria Posnania is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe and one of the largest building investments in 2015/2016 in Poland.

Around 1500 people and 14 construction cranes worked together at the construction site. As many as 10 ha of designer glazed interiors are dedicated to commercial spaces; the building has a total area of 320,000 sq. m and a volume of 1,578,000 cu. m. Thanks to the construction of Galeria Posnania, the neighbourhood of Rataje has also gained 4 new bus stops, and two extra lanes have been added to the access road. Galeria employs ca. 3,000 people, including more than 300 in shops and stores.
