On March 21st, 2014 the opening of a regional Police station took place. The ceremony was attended by police general commanding officer chief constable Marek Działoszyński and the voivodeship commanding police officer from Gorzów Wielkopolski chief constable Ryszard Wiśniewski, Voivode of Lubuskie Jerzy Ostrouch, Vice-Marshal of Lubuskie Voivodeship Bogdan Nowak, the representantive of the Ministry of the Interior Jakub Szczepaniak, Ordinary of the Zielonogórska-Gorzowska Diocese bishop Stefan Regmunt and the President of Eiffage Polska Budownictwo Zbigniew Zajączkowski.
The new police station is located on an area of 18 600 sq. m. The floorage of the administrative building equals 3 600 sq m.
In August 2012 both parties signed a contract for the development of the facility. Construction works started in September that year. The building was finished in February 2014. Its investor was the District Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
