Largest concrete works in Eiffage Polska Budownictwo history

Over 22 000 sq. m of concrete filled the foundations of a cauldron of the new block in the power plant in Kozienice. It was the largest concrete slab ever developed by Eiffage Polska Budownictwo.
Concrete works lasted from 14th to 20th March and were carried out around the clock. 25 concrete trucks ply nonstop for six days and deliveries were made every few minutes.
The slab’s parameters are 89,55 x 72,75 m, its height in most parts is 3 m, under the channels and near the carbon grinding mill its higher – 6,6 m. Inside the slab contains cable tunnels 3,3 m and 2,8 m high.
On September 17th,2013 Polimex – Mostostal arranged an agreement with Eiffage Polska Budownictwo as the subcontractor who will carry out all reinforced concrete works of the cauldron slab in a boiler house. According to the contract Eiffage was to develop (with grounding) also the Electric Equipment Building up to ground zero. This order was a part of the construction of the power unit for the supercritical parameters, burned by hard coal of electrical power 1075 MWe gros in Enea Wytwarzanie S.A.
