The President of Wejherowo announced the commission of the largest cultural development in the city with a passionate speech – ‘To develop culture and hence to support talents one needs courageous actions’.
The whole ceremony including ribbon cutting and symbolic key presentation took place in the auditorium for 400 spectators. The upper floors of the Concert Hall contains several art rooms and a gallery. The spectacular building in Wejherowo with its boat-shaped construction refers to the regional nautical tradition.
The building was blessed by the archbishop of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk, Tadeusz Gocławski. The icing of the cake was the performance of a well-known Polish pianist Waldemar Malicki and his music cabaret group Fiharmonia Dowcipu (Philharmonic of Humour).
The Concert Hall in Wejherowo is one of the most prestigious developments of Eiffage Polska Budownictwo over the last few years.
