Topping out over Marcelinska in Poznan

Tradition has been fulfilled and a symbolic topping out has been hung on the highest point of the Marcelińska 18 estate in Poznan. This means that the investment of developer Eiffage Immobilier Polska, which is being erected by Eiffage Polska Budownictwo, is already in its raw state and has reached its target height.

Construction at Marcelinska 18 is proceeding according to the work schedule.

– This is not the first time we have become known as a reliable and proven general contractor in Wielkopolska. This is best evidenced by our realizations of well-known buildings in Poznań, such as Galeria Posnania or the Elephant House at the ZOO –  says Seweryn Woś, project manager of Marcelińska 18 at Eiffage Polska Budownictwo.

The two buildings of Marcelińska 18 with 144 apartments ranging in size from 25 sqm to 140 sqm are characterized by functional room layouts, panoramic windows and spacious balconies and terraces that will offer views of the city skyline. In the well-thought-out common areas of this intimate development for future tenants, Eiffage Immobilier Polska will create a unique resident’s club. Its main room is planned to include a relaxation area with comfortable seating and a projector with a large screen, so children and their caregivers can watch a fairy tale or a movie. There will also be a communal kitchen for preparing coffee or small snacks.

– We are committed to ensuring that our estates provide comfort for many years to come and are suitable for people with different needs. That’s why we’ve taken the utmost care in designing both set-up apartments and comfortable common areas. Thus, we envisioned both double-sided units with two balconies, and studios with a separate bedroom area for greater privacy. On the other hand, we created the resident’s club with a view to enabling children to play in a pleasant room, but also to create favorable circumstances for neighborhood integration,” says Magdalena Pawlęga, Project Manager at Eiffage Immobilier Polska, which is responsible for the implementation of the Marcelińska 18 investment.

An unquestionable advantage of Marcelińska 18 is also its location. This is because the estate is being built at the junction of Jeżyce and Grunwald, at the intersection of Marcelińska and Polna Streets, in the immediate vicinity of the medical faculties of Poznan universities. The estate’s grounds also include an existing 120-year-old old-growth forest and a new green relaxation zone with benches and a playground. The developer has also decided on a number of solutions that will allow future residents to live in harmony with nature. At their disposal will be racks with a repair station for bicycles, charging stations for electric cars or energy-efficient LED lighting. The roofs (for the most part) of the buildings will be covered with vegetation, which will create a biologically active surface, and it will be possible to use collected rainwater to water the greenery.

The estate was designed for those who appreciate comfort, minimalist elegance and modern form. The facades of the buildings at Marcelińska 18 will be characterized by classical divisions, thanks to which they will relate to the neighboring tenement houses from the first half of the 20th century and to modernist multi-family buildings from the Socialist Realist period. Designed in this way, the investment will perfectly fit into this part of Poznań.
