“Dom przy Źródle” in Krakow received final occupancy permit. First apartments’ owners are moving in

The latest investment of the Eiffage group in Poland is “Dom przy Źródle” with 80 apartments, including those with a view of the Wawel Hill from the top floor. This is the second project implemented by Eiffage Immobilier Polska and the general contractor – Eiffage Polska Budownictwo. Thanks to the synergy of these two companies, a top-class project was created, offering spacious apartments, a patio and a roof covered with greenery.

In the 5-floor building, 80 apartments with areas from 26 to 85 m2 were designed, with bright kitchens or functional annexes. There are spacious apartments with terraces, which offer a view of the Wawel and the panorama of the city on the top floor, whereas medium-sized apartments are in majority. The common space of the investment was filled with a patio where a special pump was designed by students as part of the “Design the Source of Podgórze” competition. There is also a place for bicycle racks and a service station. There are 88 parking spaces in the basement of the investment. “Dom przy Źródle” is located in one of the most popular districts of Krakow – in Old Podgórze.

– Stare Podgórze aspires to repeat the success of Kazimierz or nearby Zabłocie. Nice bars, restaurants, recreational and educational infrastructure create ideal conditions for people who value active leisure and access to the city’s attractions. Combining the 30 years of experience of Eiffage Polska Budownictwo with the dynamics of Eiffage Immobilier Polska, we have created a modern building that meets the expectations of demanding customers and at the same time refers to the history of this place – said Tymon Nowosielski, President of the Management Board of Eiffage Immobilier Polska.

Podgórze offers numerous restaurants, fitness clubs, shopping malls with cinemas, and the Vistula Boulevards and surrounding parks. Families with children can also feel great here because of the proximity of schools, kindergartens and medical facilities.

Mateczny Roundabout is one of the main transport hubs of the district. A fifteen minutes’ walk is enough to reach Bednarski Park, Planty or the Vistula. The name of the investment refers to the history of Podgórze. “Dom przy Źródle (House at the spring)” refers to the nearby spa “Mateczny Zdrój” where a source of mineral waters was discovered by Antoni Mateczny, patron of a nearby roundabout. The spa – surrounded by a beautiful old park – remains an undiscovered pearl of Podgórze.
