Construction of the third care home under the ORPEA Rezydencje brand begins in Warsaw

ORPEA Polska has signed a general contract with Eiffage Budownictwo Polska for the construction of Rezydencja Parkowa – a premium care home for seniors on ul. Brylowska in Warsaw. The construction will begin on 3 January 2022 and will be completed in May 2023.  

The 5-storey building, located between the Institute of Mother and Child and Wolski Hospital, opposite Alojzy Pawełek Square, has 131 single and double rooms, medical and treatment rooms, medical and nursing facilities, day-care rooms, a physiotherapy and ergotherapy department, a hairdressing salon, an in-house kitchen with a restaurant, and an underground car park.

“The location in the city centre, additionally surrounded by beautiful old trees and next to a park, is another step in the implementation of our investment strategy. For years, we have been creating care homes in well-connected locations that provide opportunities for seniors to participate in social and cultural life. As in our other facilities, at Rezydencja Parkowa we provide professional care for elderly people who, due to their age or health, cannot or do not want to live alone. I am convinced that the residents will quickly feel at home here”, says Beata Leszczyńska, President of the Management Board of ORPEA Polska.

The development will also include a recreation area and two gardens, including a specialist garden – specially prepared for residents with Alzheimer’s disease.

For Eiffage Polska Budownictwo, this is yet another – the third within a year – proof of trust from ORPEA Polska. This confirms our competence in carrying out such exceptional and demanding investments”, says Aleksander Semczuk, Director of the Northern Region and Member of the Management Board of Eiffage Polska Budownictwo.

For EPB, this is the third order this year from ORPEA Polska for the construction of a care home for seniors under a general contracting agreement. In September this year, work began on the construction of Rezydencja Zofia in Krakow. Construction of the Residence on Szkolna Street in Poznań will also begin in January 2022.
