Fitted with an intelligent steering system, the beautifully lit pavilion was once the most advanced zoological centre in Europe. It continues to rank as the largest and the most modern facility of this type in Poland to this day.
The scenery of the elephant house continues to amaze: an artificial waterfall, rock formations, paths and embankments that form a canyon. Visitors can admire the elephants from a special hall covered with an elegant glass roof resting on a light glued-wood structure.
