On June 17th, 2014 in Mikołaj Rej Gymnasium in Kielce an official award ceremony took place for the VII Eiffage Mathematics Competition winners.
144 pupils from 16 different schools from the region participated in the contest. Second year in a row 3rd class primary school students were invited to join the competition. All participants had just one goal: use their creativity to solve as many difficult tasks as possible.
– Our main aim is to make mathematics more and more popular among children. We want students to develop their interests and their ability to think in a creative way. The contest is also a perfect occasion to find new young mathematic talents – says Iwona Marynowska-Gruszka, the headmaster of the school in Kielce.
Eiffage Polska Budownictwo was one of the sponsors of this event.
