Production hall
of the Unilever factory
in Poznan
Modern production hall implemented in the formula "Design and build" was opened in July 2017. The total area of the building constructed by Eiffage Polska Budownictwo amounted over 3.000 sqm.
The newly created production hall is functionally connected with already existing production buildings. It is a reinforced concrete prefabricated structure with a lightweight sandwich panel. Due to its purpose, the building had to meet the highest sanitary standards. The internal surfaces are very smooth to facilitate washing and disinfection. In finishing works Eiffage used special coatings allowing for contact with food, previously approved by the National Institute of Hygiene. All this was required to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
Implementation of this order required careful planning and iron discipline: production was carried without any break during the whole construction period. Eiffage was commissioned another scope of works - an underground retention tank for rainwater which can receive up to 305 m3 of water. Eiffage also reorganized and expanded the technical infrastructure of the plant.
