We are delighted to announce the establishment of the Contractors’ Agreement for BIM! This is a joint initiative of the largest construction companies in Poland, joining forces to facilitate collaboration and unify open BIM standards.
Currently, standards are often interpreted differently — which is why it’s time for collective action and greater consistency across the industry. The Agreement was created through the cooperation of leading construction companies that are now working together to build the future of digital construction in Poland, with the support of buildingSMART Poland. The initiative will help organize data management principles, improve communication between project participants, and accelerate the implementation of modern tools in public procurement.
Thanks to this Agreement, Poland has the opportunity to develop consistent, practical, and open standards that will support both contractors and public investors in their daily work. This is the first alliance of this scale among contractors in Poland, demonstrating that collaboration beyond competition can have a real impact on the development of the entire industry.
Recent months have been filled with meetings, consultations, and work on proposals, the results of which we will soon share publicly.
