Eiffage Polska Budownictwo (EPB) has signed the agreement to be the general contractor of the residential project to be located in the new stretch of Krochmalna St. in Warsaw. The project constitutes the B and C stages of Echo Investment\u2019s flagship investment \u2013 Browary Warszawskie (Warsaw Breweries) \u2013 that is being developed within the block of streets: Grzybowska, Wronia, Ch\u0142odna and Krochmalna. <\/b>
\nThe residential complex will comprise 287 units. EPB was chosen to be the general contractor due to its high safety standards at the construction sites, financial and operational capabilities (qualified and experienced team) as well as excellent history of the collaboration with Echo Investment.
\nThe project is being developed in the centre of the capital city and in various respects it reflects the history of that place. Beer was brewed here for over 150 years, since 1864 up until 2004, with only a short pause after the World War 2. The investor is going to continue this tradition, although on a smaller scale.
\nBrowary Warszawskie is a place that is very well connected to the rest of Warsaw. The designers are JEMS Achitekci. The idea behind the new project was to create a thriving part of the city, which would meet the diverse needs of its users. Office spaces will be interwoven with residential buildings. According to plans there will be also services, such as caf\u00e9s and restaurants. Browary Warszawskie\u2019s design is focused on greenery, which is more prominent near the ground floor, but appears in terraces on various levels of the buildings, filling the common spaces: public squares and court yards. Cozy spaces got symbolic names: plac Przy Warzelni (Near the Brewery square), plac Brama Browar\u00f3w (Breweries Gate square), Ogr\u00f3d Centralny (central garden), Piwnice Czasu (Basements of Time), plac \u015aniadaniowy (Breakfast square).
