The official opening ceremony of the newly build school, the Regional Centre of Education in Kostrzyn by Oder river took place on September 1st 2011. The complex contains 28 didactic halls, an assembly hall, modern sport hall and has all necessary equipment which guarantees space and excellent conditions for successful studying and teaching. The centre had been developed by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex. The Regional Centre of Education in Kostrzyn consists of two parts – A and B education buildings with 28 classrooms (segment A-16, segment B-12), administrative and didactic rooms. Another part of the centre is a sport hall (segment C) and audience for 300 spectators and fully equipped sport facilities. The project had been finansed from the Lubuskie Voivodeship EU Regional Operational Program and Gorzowskie district and City of Kostrzyn public funds.
