On January 23rd, 2014 Eiffage Polska Budownictwo completed the development of a Community Waste Management Facility in Rzędowo.
The newly established plant enables recycling of almost 30 thousand tons of waste products and will operate in the area inhabited by 200 000 people. The investment is a part of the project ‘All-embracing waste management system in Rzędowo, Gmina Tuczępy’.
The area where the facility has been constructed was a former sulfur mine. The waste dump development cost in total over PLN 52 million, over PLN 29,5 million was obtained from the Cohesion Fund project ‘ All-embracing municipal waste management system including also disposal of dangerous wastes ‘ of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program 2007-2013.
Thanks to modern technology the plant is fully prepared to several waste processes such as segregation, composing organic waste, baling of recycled resources and storing the remains of segregation process. Hence it will dispose green, mixed, resource and large waste products from 22 local Gminas. All of them participate in the Voivodeship Waste Management Plan for Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
