Eiffage and Apsys conclude contract negotiations


The negotiations between developer – Apsys and general contractor – Eiffage Polska Budownictwo subsidiary of Eiffage construction were conducted successfully. As a result, Eiffage Polska Budownictwo will be in charge of the construction of “LACINA” shopping Center –the new 99 000 sqm Flagship project of Apsys company in Poznan.
Lacina will redefine the meaning of term “shopping mall” thanks to the regional potential of this investment, incomparable merchandizing mix, unique Architecture & design alongside with innovation, unprecedented customer services policy and green approach

Łacina, as multifunctional new generation object, will be the only regional shopping mall in whole Wielkopolska. In other words, the mall will be designed not only for shopping, but also for entertainment and culture, where everybody can enjoy their spare time. Because of its size and vast variety of tenants, the mall will be unique place itself, where clients will be able to find anything to satisfy their needs and expectations. Under the same roof, in Łacina, there will be 300 tenants, including 40 large and medium ones, 220 boutiques, 40 restaurants and 3300 parking places for clients
The best quality materials have been chosen for this prestigious building: marble floors, elaborate ceilings, decorative lighting and numerous LCD screens, all selected to enhance and animate the shopping mall. Particular attention has been given to the use of natural light in the design of the building by including opening glass roof panels and skylight windows.
Eiffage Polska Budownictwo, as general contractor, will start the works in spring of 2014. Technology and experience will allow to finish the structural part of work in less than 15 months. The process of construction will be composed of building stone elevation and putting up a glass made curtain, which will be facade of the mall, and creating huge square with fountain just in front of the main entrance. Opening schedule in 2016.
